Hey, I’m Ken Petrus, the luckiest guy in the world serving as Executive Pastor at North Side. I came on staff in 2001 after working in the business world for over 30 years. I cannot believe that God allows me to use all of my past failures and successes to serve here at North Side. It is really cool see first hand how God works by weaving our life experiences together in order to grow His Kingdom.

My wife, Gail, and I have been married for over 33 years and have three grown children. We are also blessed with four grandchildren who are wonderful. If you want to know about them, just ask me.

I was originally trained as an Electrical Engineer at Milwaukee School of Engineering. I am a graduate of Andersonville Theological Seminary with Master and Doctorate degrees in Christian Education, in the area of Church Business Administration and Leadership.

My job is to “set things in order,” (Titus 1:5). As part of the Leadership Team, I work with the other pastors in developing and executing our plan to make disciples.

I love to play golf and, believe it or not, I just started to learn to play the guitar- a real challenge for someone who has no musical talent whatsoever. Physical labor is a great stress reliever for me; add a wall, roof a house, cut and nail a board- this gives great stress relief to me after a busy day.
